Frontier Heritage Fair

Ever wonder how in the world they lived back in the 1800s? We’ll give you a hint. They did not have iPhones. Or Netflix. If this sounds hard to believe, then take yourself (and your whole family) down to the Lane Events Center February 20-21 for the Frontier Heritage Fair. You can rub shoulders with some local history buffs and learn the art of muzzle loading and bread baking. Experts in all trades will be around to help adults and kids alike wrap their heads around how the old days worked—and take part in some hands-on projects and demonstrations. So get on your old coonskin cap and trot on downtown. You’ll be mighty glad you did.
